UK SOURCING CONSULTANCY.
We can act for a customer on a sourcing consultancy basis, working for a previously agreed cost providing the customer with Procurement and Sourcing solutions and services.

PRODUCT SPECIFICATION & SOURCING SERVICES.

• The customer providing Source-in-Asia Today Limited technical specifications of information on products and components along with their quality requirements and Source-in-Asia Today Limited will do the rest, providing turnkey Sourcing, Procurement, Project Management, Production and Quality specifications to ensure that the customers China manufacturing solutions are met.
  
• Solutions can range from a full cradle to grave package which includes Concept Design, Prototyping if require, Process Engineering, Pre-production set up, Production, Quality, Packaging and Shipping for new and existing products using up to date Technology.
  
• On the other hand, a customer may wish to have an existing component manufactured, using existing tooling, which would be shipped from the UK to China, and the customer having a manufacturing FOB cost, with the customer paying the shipping costs from China to the UK.
  
• Quality issues will be addressed at the beginning of the project, with controls being put in place prior to any manufacturing.
  
• All product having 1st Article approval, carried out by the customer prior to any production manufacturing commencing. These requirements are normally carried out by a UK engineer, agreeing the requirements with the Chinese supplier.
  
• Source-in-Asia Today Limited will agree timescales with the customer at all stages of the project.

VENDOR SOURCING/OUTSOURCING SERVICES.

• Choose a vendor to suit the product or component and customer requirements, with at least 3 vendors able to offer the same service.
• Audit the Vendor to Automotive Standard VDA6.3.
• The vendor MUST be accredited to ISO9001 minimum or TS16949 if required for the Automotive Industry.
• Copies of the Quality Accreditation is available for the customer.
• All vendors must have component design capabilities.
• All manufacturing facilities must be in must have provision for in-house tooling manufacture.
• All vendors must have English speaking personnel in Sales, Production, Manufacturing and Quality departments.

FOR VENDOR SOURCING/OUTSOURCING SERVICE ONLY, A SOURCING FEE WOULD NORMALLY BE REQUIRED TO BE PAID TO Source-in-Asia Today Limited.
